The Healing Home was built by our ambitious and down-to-earth founder, Grant Kasbergen. Growing up in an abusive household, Grant experienced the trauma and hardship countless kids face. He had every opportunity to accept defeat but he kept fighting for a better way to live. He kept his head up, his relationship with God close, and made it out of the situation he was in. 

Although he was out, the trauma stayed with him. He was free from that abuse yet still feeling the weight of it. Instead of letting it hold him down, Grant used this experience to raise him up - pushing himself to confront his fears, heal his trauma, and discover a new side of him he had no idea existed.

Grant became the version of himself he always dreamed of becoming and wanted to help other victims achieve the same. This idea to help others took many forms until a dream gave him the vision he immediately pursued…
